Notting Hill
This is first and best romantic history I had ever read. Notting Hill is an amazing, interesting and easy understand book. The vocabulary they used is no complicate, I learn many synonymous and adjectives of words that I knew. That novel is the exact book that ESL students needs: the context is clear, the history is not too long, good characters, funny and interesting successes which attract to the readers continuing reading to the ends of the history. I really enjoy reading the book, and refresh my mint when we are in love sometimes with the wrong person like William case ,he is a normal person and simple owner of travel book shop who is going to have a relationship with a famous person Anna Scott , at this time he star his days and nights with his head in the clouds and preoccupied all his friends for this situation, but his is very fortunately because all of then help him to concrete his relation with the beautiful girl; also, all the characters acting spectacular each of one has the specific rule to do in benefit of the couple. Where we can see the stronger relationship that they have ,I think so it is a good example for everybody to help each others. I recommend this book for anybody to relax sometimes their stressful days.

Transportation
My favourite way of traveling is by car. I enjoy traveling by car because I'm able too see the beautiful scenery up close. One of the advantages is that , I can get out for the car and explore what caught my eye, breath the fresh air, stretch my legs, and eat traditional food according to the place. Also, another great advantage if traveling whit all my family we can safe more money,if we were to travel by plane. However, traveling by car has also it is disadvantages, the trips can be long and very tiring for the driver even though my husband enjoys very much being our designated driver when ever we go on road trip. There can also be reckless drivers on the road that can make it unsafe for us.
| San Diego Temple |
One of my interesting experience in driving was my Christmas trip all the all the way to San Diego California. We departed from Calgary and past trough Montana, Idaho and arrive at Utah it took us 10 hours, then drove to Nevada , Las Vegas where we stay a night in the hotel Palazzo. The next day we were off to Arizona to spend Christmas with my sister and family. After a couple a days of staying Arizona we decided to go to Sea World is San Diego, California where we only stayed there for two days and then went back to Arizona. It was time to return back to Calgary and my husband decided to take a new route on the way back. He took us through Oregon and then Washington where we spent a day touring around and finally we went reached the boarder and went through British Columbia where we visited family and friends for two days. This Christmas road trip was one of the best car experiences that I have ever had, I enjoyed it very much.

Winter time
I am really don't have specific favorite season, but in Calgary I love winter time. I like see the snow
specially in the morning when nobody stepts on it. It's looks like a big white sheet covering the land.
When I
walk over the snow I imagine I'm was walking over the clouds, it's very soft and you dodn't get wet like when it's raining. Another good point is that Alberta is the only province has the wonderful phenomen called Chinook, it's when warm winds come and melt the snow, just in this precis moment the snow starts to get dirty. The superficie is ready to be cover again with another new amount of the snow. Kids can play outside, making snowmans, snow angels, and having a snowball fight. Adults can go for snowboarding, skating ,etc. You can see the mountains entirely cover with the snow, it's an spectacular scenery. Of course that season is cold but you need to wear appropriate clothing such as, jackets, boots, gloves, toques and enjoy the whitely of the snow and make your life peacefully during this time.

Please, No More Crime
I have been living in Calgary since 2004, I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to live in this beautiful and safe city. I remembered I used to leave the door unlock whenever I left home and nothing
happened, it was incredible. Now a days the population of Calgary is growing tremendously and we know when the population increases the problems begin, we hear bad news about assault, robberies or murders. However, Calgary still continues to be a safe city. We can walk anywhere with security, maybe in some places is a little difficult but most of the places are safe, because we can see many security cameras in public areas for example on the C-train stations, malls, and the police are always on alert. They are doing a really nice job. In my hometown (Lima-Peru) the population is bigger and the main problem is the unemployment percentage that is why many people are a muggers. You can't walk on the streets wearing gold or silver jewelry, also you can't walk around talking on your cell phone because it will be stolen and you can't leave the house alone because they will force the lock and break into the house and steal whatever they want, now most of the communities have a security guards to vigilance and the robbery is less. Do to all these reason, I am happy living here.

I AM THE LUCKY WINNER
If I won $ 10 million dollars in the lottery, first of all I would prioritize my needs such as paying the mortgage of my house, the good education for my daughters at the university, I would like to save money into a medical insurance for in some case me or my family have a critical illness, also put some amount in my savings account for my retirement, then I would like to travel to my country and help the children in need, for example the orphans, the handicapped.I would like to provide them with clothing, housing, toys, and the most important health services, help my family with some money. If after that I still have some money left than I would rather to travel around the world.I hope some day will be the winner to make my dreams true.

Christmas in Peru
In Peru we celebrate Christmas on December 24th at midnight it's the most important celebration;because this holiday we remember the nativity of Jesus Christ. The majority of Peruvian people are christian. We called this holiday as Noche Buena (Good Night) all the families are together,
and they prepared a big and special dinner with turkey, rice, potato, salad, hot chocolate, and paneton(big cake). Also we put gifts under the tree, and most of this gifts in the houses are for the children;because they believe that Papa Noel (Santa Clause) bring those for them.At midnigth everyone hugs and say
Feliz Navidad (Happy Merry Christmas) and cheer whit champagne or wine.We also celebreted with fireworks ouside the house. After that we took the dinner, the kids oppened their presents ,and in some houses families have a party. They enjoying dancing a good salsa and romantic songs sometimes until 5:00 in the morning.I love christmas because all families come together, and during this time we reflect, the relationship is became more strong.I hope you have a good time this up coming crhistmas.

City and Country
I had been living in Lima, capital of Peru most of my life.In the earlie's 70th. Lima was a quite place to live, work and have a good time in the city, but over the years Lima changed incredibly,it has become too crowed, busy,we have to depend on traffic, loud cars horns, sirens, and the most tragic thing is the people health do to the air pollution, and the lack of clean water. These are the reasons of why many people suffer different illnesses as asthma, lung problems, allergies, etc. Also people are in a rush all the time, they are moving around fast, trying to get things done as fast as possible. If I had the need to go back to Peru. I would choose any city outside of Lima, for example Iquitos,is a small, hot, and beautiful city in the rain forest of Peru.Living in Iquitos one feels like you are in a paradise, because you are in contact with nature seeing the clean and clear sky, breathing fresh air, enjoying the delicious cuisine and beverages made with typical products that the land produces, and whats most exciting is that you can see the wild life around you.The jungle is a few minutes from the city and you can enjoy the most excellent view through The Amazon forest with a variety of green vegetation.Small cities like this give you time to enjoy things that you couldn't do in the big cities.Any ways, living in small cities makes you feel more relax, time seems to go by slowly, there is always plenty of time to spend with your family, and neighbors, and the cost of living is cheaper than Lima.I hope some day I can enjoy my retirement there.
