and they prepared a big and special dinner with turkey,rice,potato,salad,hot chocolate,and paneton(big cake).Also we put gifts under the tree,and most of this gifts in the houses are for the children;because they believe that Papa Noel (Santa Clause) bring those for them.At midnigth everyone hugs and say Feliz Navidad (Happy Merry Christmas) and cheer whit champagne or wine.We also celebreted with fireworks ouside the house.After that we took the dinner,the kids oppened their presents ,and in some houses families have a party.They enjoying dancing a good salsa and romantic songs sometimes until 5:00 in the morning.I love christmas because all families come together, and during this time we reflect, the relationship is became more strong.I hope you have a good time this up coming crhistmas.

This sounds pretty similar to Christmas celebrations in Canada, except we do most things on Christmas morning instead of after midnight. I think it's a great time to enjoy being with friends and family.

In Peru we celebrate Christmas on December 24th at midnight. It's the most important celebration because on this holiday we remember the nativity of Jesus Christ.
I love Christmas because all families come together, and during this time we reflect, the relationship becomes stronger.
